If you've been looking for an excuse to get the feels, look no further than the latest collaboration between American Idol alums Gabby Barrett and Cade Foehner, who have teamed up on a cover of Lady Antebellum’s 2009 lovelorn hit “Need You Now."

It's clear from watching the performance that the two are lovebirds, a secret that was eventually revealed during the show's run. In the cover, they sing with perfect ease to each other, while small screens in each corner show Foehner handling the drums and electric guitar for the performance as well.

Barrett placed third on American Idol, behind yet another couple that received a bit more fanfare — Caleb Lee Hutchinson and winner Maddie Poppe, who revealed they were dating during the finale. Foehner placed fifth during the season. Barnett showed off a healthy knowledge of country music in her tenure on the show, performing Carrie Underwood’s “Good Girl” and “Church Bells” as well as Gretchen Wilson’s “Redneck Woman.”
