I'm not typically a guy that enjoys animated movies but at Julie's urging, I watched Disney's "Frozen" a few weeks ago.  It didn't take me long to realize what all the hype was about.  I fully enjoyed it.

"Frozen" has sold massive numbers of DVD's, packed audiences into theaters, and has also sold more than 2-and-a-half million soundtracks. No wonder Disney continues to look for ways to capitalize on this phenomenon.

According to a New York Times report, "Frozen" will become a "Disney on Ice" touring production beginning in September.  It's expected to take nine semis to transport all the associated equipment, including the 20 snow-making machines that will be used to create a giant blizzard.  "Frozen" will be one of six "Disney on Ice" productions touring the U.S. in 2014-2015, and we'll keep our fingers crossed that Cedar Rapids is one of the stops in the near future.  If it is, who knows, you might even see me in the audience...
