Sometimes, something that feels bad, can actually be good for you.  Take stress.  Constant stress is not good.  But occasional stress associated with things like work deadlines can help stimulate and even create new brain cells!  Here are some other uncomfortable things that can be good for your!

  • Dressing up for work.  According to at least one expert, it can help improve your posture.  You're more likely to sit up straight if you're wearing nice clothes.
  • Holding it when you have to pee.  Again, not too long as that can cause a urinary tract infection.  But going everytime at the first urge, can lead to having an overactive bladder.
  • Letting minor headaches go away on their own.  If you get them constantly, you probably take painkillers.  But that can lead to having MORE headaches.
