He played high school basketball in the state of Iowa, and he soared above the competition last week to win the College Slam Dunk contest.

Devan Douglas played his high school basketball at Clinton. He just completed his collegiate career in North Dakota at the University of Mary but what he did last is probably the biggest WOW of his entire career. Check out some of his dunks during last Thursday night's contest:

In practice, he got nearly four feet off the floor. WHAT!?

It was all good enough to give him the Slam Dunk title and this massive belt. It's almost like he won a professional wrestling title. Two things are especially impressive about his feat. He was one of only two Division II players in the competition AND he's only 6-foot-3. Douglas started 28 games this season and averaged 9.0 points per game for the University of Mary Marauders, who concluded the season 19-12.
