Florida Georgia Line's new video for "Simple" plays more like an epic romance brought to the big screen.

The newly released clip for FGL's latest single is reminiscent of the tone of The Notebook, taking viewers on a romantic journey through time as a grandfather tells his grandsons the story of how he met their grandmother.

Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley play the house act at a down-home hootenanny the young lovers end up at after crashing an upscale wedding where they clearly don't fit in, and "Simple" not only provides the soundtrack for them falling in love, its lyrics are a perfect fit for the simple, timeless love story director Justin Clough brings to the screen.

"It's like one, two, three, just as easy as can be / Just the way you look at me, you make me smile / Ain't no need to complicate it / We both know that's overrated / We've been there, it's safe to say it ain't our style," FGL sing in the chorus of "Simple," which is the first single from a forthcoming fourth album from the superstar duo. With its instantly catchy whistling hook and compelling bed track of acoustic guitars, it's also a step in a more organic direction for FGL than we've seen on previous efforts.

Florida Georgia Line have also teased fans with another new song, "Colorado," from their fourth record, but have not yet revealed the details for the project.
