Flash Flooding in Cedar Rapids Nothing Compared to Tornado Destruction Just Over Hundred Miles Away [WATCH]

While less than two-tenths of an inch of rain fell at the Eastern Iowa Airport today, parts of Cedar Rapids saw much more, triggering a Flash Flood Warning. Still, seeing these tornadoes that weren't all that far away, we should consider ourselves lucky.

Rochelle, Illinois is just over 120 miles from Cedar Rapids and two different tornadoes were reported near the city. A restaurant near Rochelle was totally destroyed, trapping 12 people inside. Thankfully, it sounds like they'll all be alright. Meanwhile, the small town of Fairdale, Illinois has been reported to be nearly a total loss.
