Blake Shelton Reveals a Lot About Himself Playing Take 5 at the Opry [Watch]

Blake Shelton is known for his comedic side, so when he sat down at the Grand Ole Opry for their video feature Take 5, there were bound to be some laughs. Throughout the video segment, Shelton fills fans in on what song he wishes he had written, why he became a professional musician and much more.

So why exactly did the "Sangria" singer become a musician? He answers the Opry's question very candidly. "I knew by the time I was 15 that I wanted to be a country singer," Shelton says. "I think I felt like that was probably the only way I was ever going to meet any girls."

Throughout the interview, the country superstar reveals things about himself that come as a surprise. He says one song he wishes he had written is the "Star-Spangled Banner." After a long pause when asked the top website he has visited, he says Bass Pro Shops is his favorite website with a sly smile.
