Courtlin brought me some Michigan food.  I had her sample some Iowa favorites.  There is no doubt that each state has their own tastes and varieties of foods.  And while Michigan and Iowa may have some different tastes, we're both still firmly planted in the midwest.  So how do other American's view midwest food favorites?  The results are "cheesy"!
