Ladies, here's you chance to team up with Coach Kirk Ferentz, members of the University of Iowa Football Team and Coaching Staff, and Iowa celebrity Chris Soules from "The Bachelor" and "Dancing with the Stars".

The Fifth Annual Ladies Football Academy at Kinnick Stadium is set for Saturday, June 6 (11 a.m.-4:30 p.m.). The event is held to raise money for the University of Iowa Children's Hospital. The Ladies Football Academy has donated $1 million to the new Children's Hospital, currently under construction and scheduled to open next year, and has pledged an additional $1 million toward pediatric research.

Participants are able to enter the inner sanctum of Iowa football for the ultimate Hawkeye experience. Participants can meet their favorite players and coaches, and now America's favorite farmer.. Iowa's own Chris Soules.

Ladies are able to learn the game while participating in skills and drills and enjoying a rare, behind-the-scenes look into where and how the Hawkeyes train. Participants experience the excitement and energy inside the Black & Gold locker room and the rush of swarming the Kinnick Stadium playing field to the sound of "Back in Black".

"It is a privilege and a thrill to be associated with University of Iowa Children's Hospital and the Ladies Football Academy," Soules said. "A lot of people work extremely hard to make this event the success it is every year. I look forward to being part of such a wonderful cause in our state."

Campers are able to check out the visiting team's pink locker room and win exclusive, authentic Iowa football prizes.

All money raised by Ladies Football Academy participants benefits UI Children's Hospital. UI Children's Hospital has been dedicated to meeting the health care needs of children and families since 1919.

As part of an academic medical center, UI Children's Hospital also performs groundbreaking research to help solve the mysteries of childhood diseases, in addition to training the next generation of health care professionals.
