‘Fantasy Island’ Reboot Is Going to Happen…With One Big Twist

First came the news that a McGyver reboot is in the works. Today we've learned that another classic sitcom is about to get re-worked. That show is 'Fantasy Island'. The original aired on ABC from 1977 to 1984 and starred Ricardo Montalban and Herve Villachaize as his companion Tattoo. The reboot though will have a gender twist.

Mr. Roarke, the role made famous by Montalban, will this time be a female lead. No word on who might be cast in the role, but they'll have a tough act to follow. Montalban was smooth and calculated in making the deepest darkest desires of his clients come true!
