Eastern Iowa Enjoyed A Couple Beautiful Sunsets Over The Weekend

We're all a bit cranky knowing that unusually cold weather is in store for us beginning tomorrow, but how 'bout the natural beauty of this past weekend? My wife, Julie, snapped this picture late Saturday afternoon in northeast Cedar Rapids... what a gorgeous skyline.

She snapped another great one Sunday afternoon; this time in southeast Iowa (below).

Sure, it'll only be in the mid-30's tomorrow and down from there. However, low 60's today and sunsets like the ones we enjoyed this past weekend certainly make the forecast a little easier to stomach... until we step outside tomorrow anyway.
