With tickets for Garth Brooks' Iowa show going on sale tomorrow at 10 am, the frenzy for tickets has many people shelling out more cash than they need to. We've received numerous calls saying they can't believe that Garth would sell concert tickets for hundreds of dollars. Good news folks. He isn't.

People are heading to Google and typing in "Garth Brooks Des Moines tickets" and coming up with several sites selling tickets already. I searched it and was able to log on and buy tickets for Garth's show in Des Moines on April 30th. Two problems. One, tickets don't go on sale until Friday at 10 am. Secondly, the prices ranged from $200 to several thousand dollars! This is what's known as the secondary ticket market. Ticket brokers who buy tickets at face value, and then when the show sells out, sell them for profit. Garth is selling his concert tickets for a flat price. All seats for his Des Moines show are $74.98 including taxes and fees. You can view the ticket ordering information HERE.

Artists like Garth and many more are trying to stop brokers from buying concert tickets and then jacking up prices to the general public. It's one reason why there is an eight ticket limit when buying them tomorrow. Now once a show sells out, then the secondary market might be your only option. If you're willing to pay the price. But don't fall victim to the markup before tickets have even gone on sale!
