Do-It-Yourself Dad Makes Son the Coolest Bed Ever

When one little boy didn't want to start sleeping in a big-boy bed, his dad went above and beyond to create the best kid's bed ever!

Dad Eric Strong came up with what people are calling the most epic IKEA hack of all time. He used 3 pieces of IKEA furniture : The Kura bed, the Trofast storage system and the Besta shelving unit. With these 3 items he was able to create a bed that includes a slide, a play system, a secret door, and more!

Strong spent 1-2 hours a night for 2 months creating the pieces for the elaborate bed, and was able to put everything together in about 4 hours. And don't worry, he says that he made sure the bed was very safe! Here's a video showing the finished product:
