Details on Iowa-Penn State Game Revealed

Iowa has had September 23, 2017, circled on their schedule since last November 5. You remember it well. The Iowa football team was embarrassed by Penn State that night in Happy Valley.  It was agonizing. The Hawks were never in it and lost 41-14.

That very night you knew when the Nittany Lions invaded Kinnick this season that Iowa would be ready. It's what competitors look forward to... another chance. When the schedule came out and no game time was listed, there was that looming question of 'Will it be a night game?' The answer is Yes! ABC-TV will have the coverage of the 6:35 p.m. kickoff that will also be the annual Black & Gold Spirit Game where fans stripe the stands. It always looks awesome, and at night it's even better.

I fully expect the Hawkeyes to be ready and I know the fans will be. However, let's take care of North Texas first. Game time this Saturday at Kinnick Stadium is 2:35 p.m. It will be televised by ESPN 2. Go Hawks!
