After visiting the movie rental store 5 times in the past few weeks, I was FINALLY able to get my hands on a movie that I've been wanting to watch since I made my original list! And it did NOT disappoint!

Just like everyone said, this movie was absolutely amazing. Other than it starting off a little slow, I have zero complaints. After watching the Green Mile, I was expecting this one to also have a sad ending, but I was so thrilled that it didn't. Everything about the ending was perfect and I bawled my eyes out like a little baby. That wasn't the first time I cried, though. One of the saddest parts of the entire film was when Brooks killed himself. I saw it coming, but I was not prepared for it. I adored Brooks!

I honestly don't know who I loved more in this movie, Morgan Freeman's character Red, or Tim Robbin's character Andy. I will watch anything if Morgan Freeman is in it. I want him to read me bedtime stories. I've never seen anything else that Tim Robbins is in, but he should've won ALL THE OSCARS. I can't believe he wasn't even nominated! I can't even believe that this entire MOVIE didn't win any Oscars! HOW?

Some of my favorite scenes of the movie are the one where they get to drink beer on the roof, the one where Andy is playing music over the loudspeaker, and the one where they show Andy escaping from the prison. I'm so glad this movie wasn't spoiled for me beforehand, because I got to have the same reaction as the characters in the movie when I found out he escaped. I was actually pretty proud of myself for figuring out the hole was behind the poster. I just love how everything worked out.

I'm looking for another movie to watch next week, and it has to be good because I only have 12 weeks left! Leave me your suggestions below!
