It's the final week of January, which means I have officially stuck to my New Year's Resolution longer than most people! I'm watching a movie I've never seen every week for the entire year of 2015, and this week I chose a movie NOT on my original list: Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982).

I've seen The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and most of the other 80s classics, but for some reason I've never seen Fast Times at Ridgemont High. That's why, when I came across it at the movie store, I picked it up and added it to my list.

The 80s were a much different time for movies, which is why I can't judge it too harshly. It was a fun movie, full of drama and ridiculous teenage stereotypes, and I loved it. I just found out that Spicoli was played by a young Sean Penn and my MIND IS BLOWN. He was so, so young! I would also like to note that Brad Hamilton is the best big brother of all time, and I loved his character. And I definitely had a moment of jealousy when I saw the iconic scene of Linda climbing out of the pool.
