Courtlin's Resolution Movie List

Last week I watched another movie from my New Year's Resolution Movie List , and this one was actually on the original list!

A lot of the movies I've been watching lately are movies that I've come across on Netflix or that are listener suggestions, so it was fun to finally find one on Netflix that is from the original list I compiled in the beginning of the year. So, without further ado, here's my review for The Big Lebowski (1998).

I went into this movie not knowing a SINGLE thing about it, except that Beyonce quotes it in one of her songs. I was pretty shocked to find out the entire movie happened because of a rug. Every time The Dude said, "That rug really tied the room together," I laughed out loud. There were actually quite a few times that I laughed out loud, the movie was actually really funny. I will say that I could not STAND John Goodman's character Walter. I kind of wanted to punch him in the face throughout the entire movie. I really thought Maude, Julianne Moore's character, was super entertaining, though. Everything she said and did I was kind of like, "...what?!" I liked her unpredictability.

I think the movie was a little bit long, but I loved it, nonetheless. I would totally recommend it for anyone who hasn't seen it.
