Courtlin Needs Ideas on What to Do With Her Family This Weekend

2018 has been a pretty strange year. The weirdest part of all is that not ONE person has visited me in Iowa since last December. NOT ONE! In my (almost) four years living in Cedar Rapids, that has never happened. I guess it's just been a busy year for everyone!

Things will change this weekend, though. My mom and my two favorite aunts will be making the eight-hour drive from Michigan to pay me a visit on Friday. They plan on getting here around 10 a.m., which means I've got almost two full days of activities to plan! The problem is that I have very few ideas. If it was summer, things would be totally different, but it's definitely not. It's cold outside, which means all those fun, outdoor activities like Uptown Friday Night and the Downtown Farmers Market are long gone.

This is where you guys come in. What should I take my family to do this weekend? As far as food goes, I have plenty of restaurant ideas, but other than that and a little karaoke Saturday night, I'm totally stumped. One of my aunts has never been here before, so I'd really like to impress her just a tiny bit.
