I'm headed to Denver for the first time in October, and I could really use some suggestions for places to visit!

In the past couple of years, I've taken some awesome weekend trips. Last year I went to Nashville for the first time, and earlier this year I took my first trip to Chicago. I didn't think I'd be doing another mini-vacation so soon, but I just found out this week that I'll be going to Denver this October! Colorado is one of those places I've always wanted to go, so it's kind of surreal that it's finally happening. It's finally time to see what John Denver was singing about!

We booked an Airbnb in the Highland Park area of Denver, which is apparently an amazing area of the city with lots of shops, restaurants, and bars. The thing I'm most excited about, though, is doing nature things. I absolutely LOVE hiking, so I'm super pumped about the scenery. I've never seen the Rocky Mountains before, and I know I'm going to fall in love.

If you have any recommendations for me for places I need to visit on my first trip to Denver, I could definitely use some! I'm especially looking for good restaurants and places to hike, so if you have any suggestions, please leave them in the comments!
