Country Music Star Has A Drummer From My Eastern Iowa Hometown

Trace Adkins' drummer is from a small town in Eastern Iowa. What's more, his hometown is also mine.

John Richardson, or Johnny as he's known these days, and I both roamed the halls of Sigourney High School during the late 80's. As I think back, it seems like he always had drumsticks in his hands, so it's no big surprise that John has reached such lofty levels of success. He's been performing on the big stages for a long time. These days he sits behind Trace Adkins, leading his band, currently on a Christmas tour.
