We are one step closer to the lives! Last night we wrapped up night two of the knockouts on NBC's 'The Voice,' and I was seriously impressed. The last few weeks I've been way more into 'American Idol,' but this week 'The Voice' really grabbed my attention.

I just want to start by saying that Kelly Clarkson is an angel. I truly love her as a coach and as a person and I wish she could be a permanent fixture on the show. She's just so fun and down-to-earth and genuine and just... cool. I would 100% pick her as my coach if I were on the show.

As far as performances go, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of country in this week's episodes. There were even some non-country artists who sang country songs and they were great! My favorite country performance of the week was Team Kelly's Kaleb Lee. He sang "Free" by the Zac Brown Band and I feel like he really stepped his game up. Personally, I think it was his most impressive song yet.

I am also just BLOWN AWAY by Team Kelly's Brynn Cartelli. Her rendition of "Here Comes Goodbye" by Rascal Flatts was very impressive, but even more so when you think about the fact that she's 14. Let that sink in... she's FOURTEEN-YEARS-OLD. The depth and soul in her voice are so much more mature than her age that it's almost unbelievable. Mark my words: she is going to be one to watch.

Here are a few of my other favorite performances this week:

No performance from our Iowa gal Sharane this week, but I'm sure hers will be coming next week!
