Country Stars Love Luke Bryan, Stunned By Ending at Super Bowl LI

The ending of Super Bowl LI on Sunday night (Feb. 5) stunned ... well, pretty much everyone. After trailing to the Atlanta Falcons for the whole game, the New England Patriots surged back in the second half to force an overtime -- the first in Super Bowl history -- and win the game, 34-28. A number of country artists were among those watching the big game, both at home and in person, and they weren't shy about sharing their thoughts.

Among those artists watching Super Bowl LI in person at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, were Bryan (of course) and Lady Antebellum, who performed pre-game. Darius Rucker took in the game with his son Jack, and Dustin Lynch, Thomas Rhett and Kenny Chesney also found themselves at the event with friends and family.

Country music was everywhere during Super Bowl LI: In addition to Bryan's National Anthem performance, Johnny Cash’s music was featured in two different ads, and a star-studded parody of Garth Brooks' "Friends in Low Places" aired prior to game time.
