Confused by Bike Lanes? Here’s Some Answers

The new bike lanes have been around for awhile now but many of us aren't handling the corners correctly. Myself included. Here's what you need to know.

Let's begin with right turns. I try to always stay out of the bike lane at corners. Clearly, that's wrong.

You think that's hard? Ok, it really isn't but the left turns are handled differently for bicyclists, depending on where the bike lane is. It's a learning curve for everyone, so hopefully this is beneficial to both drivers and bicyclists. Here's to a safe summer.
