Monday Night's NCAA College Football Championship Game was everything it was billed up to be. Exciting, high scoring, & a hard hitting thriller between of the 2 best teams in College Football; Alabama & Clemson. Alabama came away with the win 45-40. The only problem was the viewing audience didn't tune in. The national title game was down 23% compared to the 2015 national title game when Ohio State defeated Oregon 42-20.

Leading into the national title game is where the problem all started. The NCAA scheduled the national semi-final games of Clemson vs Oklahoma and Michigan State vs Alabama on New Years Eve. The Clemson/Oklahoma game viewership was down 45% compared to last year. The Alabama/Michigan State game viewership was down 34%.

Now most college football fanatics will watch games whenever except on New Years Eve. If the NCAA is looking to create a following, they must move these game off New Years Eve PERMANENTLEY or find that the Networks are not going to pay big dollars to support these games.

Heres hoping our New Years Eve from now on will be so awesome.
