If their burgers are as big as their burritos, you can count me in!

The burrito chain Chipotle is apparently getting into the burger business. According to Business Insider, the company will be starting a chain called Tasty Made. The menu will be pretty simple: burgers, fries, and shakes. The food will have "high-quality ingredients that are grown and raised with respect for the animals, the land, and the farmers who produce them."

Co-CEO of Chipotle Steve Ells says they want to go the traditional fast food route with a very focused menu, and, "Making only burgers, fries and shakes with really great ingredients, we think we can appeal to peoples’ timeless love of burgers, but in a way that is consistent with our long-term vision."

There's no details on how the restaurant will be run, but I hope they adopt the assembly line ordering technique, just like they have at Chipotle. The very first Tasty Made will open in the fall in Lancaster, Ohio, and I guess we will see how it goes from there!

I'm wondering if people actually WANT another fast food burger place. It seems like there's already one on every corner, unlike Chipotle which doesn't have a huge amount of competition. If one of these make its way to Cedar Rapids, we will be sure to let you know!
