Why wouldn't the Chicago Cubs have a little fun? They're in first place in the National League Central as baseball's regular season enters month #2. Even after a loss to the Atlanta Braves on Sunday (5/1), the Cubs had some fun departing Wrigley Field for their first themed road trip of 2016. Coach Joe Maddon is calling it "minimalist zany". That basically means ridiculously silly suits required.

Baseball's regular season is a 162-game grind. During that six-month marathon, manager Joe Maddon likes to keep his guys loose and having fun. I can't imagine the Cardinals or Yankees wearing leopard print, camouflage, or a Rubik's cube-patterned jacket and slacks.
