Country newcomer Chase Rice is readying his new full-length album, set to impact later this summer. It's not just any day that the singer will celebrate this milestone in his career; the release date is also his late father's birthday.

Rice's album 'Ignite the Night' -- which features Gold-certified 'Ready Set Roll' -- will be released on Aug. 19, and the singer admits that the serendipitous date is deeply meaningful to him.

"Words can’t really express how grateful I am to all the people that came together to make this album happen," the North Carolina native says. "Starting with the fans, who come to my shows night after night and sing my songs back to me -- I wouldn’t have a career without them, and I’m excited to get new music out so we can keep the party going."

Adds Rice, "The fact that this album is coming out on my dad’s birthday makes it that much more meaningful. I hope I do him proud.” The rising country star's father passed away from a heart attack after a battle with melanoma while Rice, 22 at the time, was still in college at University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.

Rice's forthcoming album holds 15 tracks, 12 of which he co-wrote, with four additional songs on the iTunes edition (and three co-writing credits). Florida Georgia Line's Brian Kelley is listed as a co-writer for several of the record's songs, while Tyler Hubbard, helped out on 'Whoa.' To pre-order 'Ignite the Night,' click here.
