Cedar Rapids Restaurant And Bar About To Reopen One Year After Fire

On September 6th, 2016 fire did major damage to Moose McDuffy's and Riley's Restaurant on 1st Avenue in Cedar Rapids. Over a year later the two businesses are finally about to reopen to the public.

Moose McDuffy's will open up on Friday but with a new name and theme. The owners are taking advantage of the bar's location in the medical district. The bar will now be called Grey's Pub, no doubt after Grey's Anatomy? The decor will be medical themed.

As for Riley's, the time table is a little less certain. The restaurant's owner says that he hopes to be open by the end of next week. Construction is done, but final inspections continue.
