Have a strong desire to serve your community? The Cedar Rapids Police Department has your opportunity to not only serve but protect as well, as they accept applications to become a Police Officer.

The Cedar Rapids Police Department will be accepting applications beginning Monday, January 11 through 4 p.m. Thursday, February 18. You can download an application here. The site also includes a list of required qualifications, salary, and benefit information. You may also pick up an application at the Police Station at 505 1st Street SW. Applications can be mailed to those who live more than 50 miles away from the Police Station. Call (319) 286-5175 to request a mailing. Applications can be dropped off, mailed, or sent via electronic mail.

The starting salary for Police Officers in Cedar Rapids is $51,230.40 along with a benefits package through the City of Cedar Rapids that includes medical, dental, and retirement benefits.
