A Cedar Rapids man who was commended for being a good samaritan for returning a lost wallet, now finds himself the victim of a crime.

Ken Manzel found the lost wallet while on a walk last Friday. He then returned it to the owner. Tuesday morning, Manzel and his wife went for a walk and when they returned, noticed things were not right. They then discovered that someone had stolen some of his wife's jewelry.

Despite the theft, Manzel is trying to stay positive and says they simply would like the items returned. He says the only way someone could have gotten into the home was through an unlocked door on the home's second-floor deck. Cedar Rapids police continue their investigation.
