Easter Sunday is coming up in less than two weeks, on April 1st. Are you ready to take the kids to some of the best Easter egg hunts in Eastern Iowa?

Go Cedar Rapids has a comprehensive guide to your options for Easter egg fun starting with the Noelridge Park/HyVee event. The events were scheduled for Saturday, March 24 but due to winter weather have been RESCHEDULED for Thursday night, March 29 at 5 p.m. Three other parks will be participating: in addition to Noelridge, the Easter bunny will stop at Hayes, Peg Pierce and Cherry Hill Parks in Marion and Cedar Rapids.

Each location will have 1000 eggs to hunt, including a "golden egg" featuring prizes! It will happen rain or shine and be a hoppin' good time!

Saturday, March 31, will see the following Easter Egg hunts and activities:

  • Hiawatha Easter Egg Hunt in Guthridge Park, rain or shine at 9 a.m.
  • Bloosmbury Farm with the Easter Bunny. Starting at 9 a.m. at Bloomsbury Farm, Each child will get their own basket of goodies to take home with them and don’t forget a camera to takes pictures with the Easter Bunny. Purchase tickets and get more information at their website.
  • The Play Station Easter Celebration at the Play Station in Cedar Rapids, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Celebrate Easter at the Play Station with an Easter Egg hunt, face painting, arts & crafts, cookie decorating, balloon artists and more! Doors open at 9:45 am and the Easter Egg hunt begins at 10:15 am.
  • The H.D. Youth Center Easter Egg Hunt. Rain or shine at NewBo City Market starting at 1 p.m. Parents and guardians are encouraged to bring their own baskets and bags.
