UPDATE: Businesses Will Not Be Fined Over Sandbags

The Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance reached out to us yesterday to correct a misunderstanding about sandbags and Cedar Rapids businesses. Contrary to early information, businesses that still have sandbags in front of their stores will NOT face any fines from the city.

The city also clarified that only 2 sandbag drop off locations are still open, not 4 as previously reported.
