Brain and I wanted to do something fun today to commemorate the presidential election, and what better way to do that than having one of our own? We need your help determining the President of the KHAK Morning Show for the year 2017. There's no physical prize for winning, just the joy of holding it over the other person's head for the next year. We have each put together a paragraph explaining why we should be your new president, so read them carefully before making your decision.

Although I may still be fairly new to KHAK Country and the state of Iowa, I feel like I could really make a positive impact and offer a fresh perspective as your first ever KHAK Morning Show President. I am a huge supporter of all the good things in life: good food, good music, and good fun. I am incredibly passionate about serious issues like stopping the rising cost of Netflix, preventing people from parking like total jerks, and banning apartment buildings that don't allow you to have pets. I am in full support of baby animals, nachos, and naps for everyone. I'm very anti-mean people. My VP has not yet been decided, but let's be honest, it will probably be a pug. Vote for Courtlin and "Make America nap again!"

Why vote for ME? Leadership. Experience. I've worked in this studio for nearly 20 years. I've been here through 2 floods, concerts too numerous to count. I've seen country music through good times and bad times. The one constant? The fantastic listeners. You make our job fun and worthwhile. If you've listened to me over the years you know my stances. I'm pro fireworks. I love breakfast. I believe burritos should be their own food group. I prefer the sound of vinyl over other formats. I love my coffee ICED and my music loud!
