Canadian Wildfire smoke in Iowa

If you wake up this morning and step outside and smell smoke, don't worry. Chances are you're smelling Canadian smoke. Wildfires burning in Canda have produced a huge plume of smoke. A cold front which brought us rain yesterday also brought cooler air from, you guessed it, Canada. Along with the cooler air came smoke. It's amazing to think that smoke from a fire happening in another country could actually fill the air here in Iowa.
