Can You Change A Tire? New Survey Reveals Most Can’t!

I'll never be hired to work on a NASCAR pit crew, but I'd like to think that if I had to, I could change a flat tire.  I wouldn't set any record for speed, but I know the basics on how to do it.  According to a new survey, I'm in the minority.

That survey found that 50% of Americans don't know how to change a flat tire.  Not a shocking number.  Lets face it.  Changing a tire sucks.  You're off to the side of the road, praying the jack works, trying to pry off the lug nuts.  Sometimes it's easier to just call someone to do it for you!  The rest of the survey is less encouraging.

Nearly 30% of people don't know how to refill their washer fluid!  Really?  All that requires is pulling off a lid that says "washer fluid", and pouring the liquid in!  And if that doesn't depress you enough, 1% said that didn't know how to fill up with gas!  Stop, and hand over your keys please.
