C.J. Beathard is a New Dad [PHOTO]

The Iowa quarterback is the father of a baby girl, just two weeks before the Outback Bowl.

C.J.'s longtime girlfriend, Madelyn, gave birth to Lyla on Monday. The announcement came on C.J.'s Instagram account early this morning with the message, "Got to welcome this beautiful baby girl into the world today! By far one of the greatest and proudest moments of my life. So grateful that God blessed us with this perfect little girl. Lyla is such a blessing! #prouddaddy"

C.J.'s brother, country singer Tucker Beathard, is pretty thrilled about being a new uncle, and rightfully so. He posted a picture of himself holding Lyla with the message "I am officially an uncle. Congrats @ceejaybeat_hard and @madelyncc on your beautiful, healthy baby girl Lyla, God has blessed us all with"
