Earlier this week, it was announced that Brett Young is headlining this year's CMT on Tour. That's great, but that tour doesn't include any Iowa stops. However, Brett IS coming to the Hawkeye state!

Brett will be performing at the Hansen Agriculture Student Learning Center on the campus of Iowa State University in Ames on October 7. Tickets went on sale earlier this week and can be purchased HERE or at the Maintenance Shop Box Office weekdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets for the show are $35, and $25 for Iowa State students.

Brett Young is on a musical tear. He hit the top spot on the country music charts again last week with his new hit, "Mercy."

That's four consecutive number one songs for Brett. "In Case You Didn't Know," "Like I Loved You," and "Sleep Without You" all topped the charts. It all started for Brett two-and-a-half years ago. February of 2016 was when Brett released "Sleep Without You," the first single from his EP 'Brett Young.'

I'll keep beating the drum trying to get Brett Young into eastern Iowa but for now, at least we've got this... Ames in October!
