It's no secret that both Brett Eldredge and Thomas Rhett have some pretty varied influences, and they've both brought pop, funk and R&B sounds into their music. On Saturday night (Nov. 14) in Sioux City, Iowa, the two shared the stage during their CMT on Tour trek and traded off snippets of songs by everyone from Tim McGraw to Drake.

Eldredge and Rhett began with a country-fied version of Kanye West's 2005 hit "Gold Digger," after which they sang a few bars of Brooks & Dunn's "Neon Moon," with the crowd loudly singing it back to them. From there, they had a little fun with pieces of Charlie Puth and Meghan Trainor's "Marvin Gaye," Drake's "Hotline Bling," "Watch Me" by Silento and "Drag Me Down" by One Direction before wrapping up with McGraw's "Real Good Man." “At our shows, there aren’t any rules,” Rhett says. “There’s no such thing as standing still and just singing a song. I love jumping into the crowd. I love to dance. The whole show is very uptempo, high energy and completely unpredictable.”

The two country stars have dates on their CMT on Tour scheduled through mid-December. Eldredge released a new single, "Drunk on Your Love," in late October, while Rhett is making waves with his current single, "Die a Happy Man." Both songs are the second singles from their most recent albums, Illinois and Tangled Up, respectively.
