You'd think I'd learned my lesson by now. But clearly, I haven't. My kids continue to disrupt my social media accounts. Carly was the culprit this time around. Although it could have been much worse. She hacked my Google+ account. Is anyone still using that? I mean other than my daughter.

Our kids got tablets for Christmas. They're Android so they can get apps and games through the Google Store. I have a Gmail account, so I used that to set up their tablets. They still had to come to me for the password when downloading something so I thought security was good enough. What I didn't expect was Carly snooping around Google+. She actually tried telling me earlier this week what she was up to but I didn't make the connection. Then yesterday, Chase spotted her on Google+ posting pictures. So I decided to check it out.

I found pictures, videos she had filmed on her tablet and more all posted on MY account. She was having fun and hadn't posted anything bad, but I had to tell her that she was still too young for social media! I also changed the password on my Google account.

Never assume your kids can't or won't figure out something that has to do with technology. They will. Update your passwords. Up your security settings. Or else you'll be explaining pictures of Disney princesses on your Google+ account like I am.
