Brain’s Best of 2013!

Another year has come and gone.  The kids have grown bigger, and my hairline even smaller.  2013 was a year filled with many great memories and moments.  But if I had to pick just a couple, here they are! 

I got to take my wife to Lambeau Field for the first time.  We are both huge Packer fans, but, she had never been to a game before.  Me on the other hand?  I'd seen Green Bay play at Lambeau several other times, but I'd never seen them WIN!  Both of that changed that October day, as they beat the Detriot Lions.  A great way to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday!  But my favorite moment of 2013?

A magical night in Monticello.  My wife and I's favorite artist, Keith Urban, finally played my hometown county fair, The Great Jones County Fair.  It would be our 10th time seing Keith, and my 5 year old daughter Carly's first.  She got to meet Keith backstage, and gave him a big hug!  Then, my wife and I watched as she danced the night away to song after song.  She even danced on the edge of the stage, thanks to some help from security!  A wonderful woman from California there for the show, captured the above picture from that concert.  It is, by far, my favorite moment from 2013.
