Towards the end of Breaking Bad, Saul Goodman said that he'd probably end up working at a Cinnabon in Nebraska.  During the opening sequence of the AMC show Better Call Saul, thats exactly where he was.  The flash forward sequence was brilliantly used throughout Breaking Bad.  It was cool to see it used here, before we got the backstory on how Saul became, well, Saul.

Can this show ever live up to Breaking Bad?  Probably not.  What show could?  But with Bob Odenkirk playing Saul (or Jimmy as he's still known as), and sprinkling in some of the characters from Breaking Bad like they did in episode one, this show is going to be around awhile.  It was fun to see Mike from Breaking Bad working the toll booth.  And it was frightening to see Tuco Salamanca pull Jimmy through the door at the end of the episode.  Creator Vince Gilligan has so much to draw from in the universe he created through Breaking Bad.  When will Jimmy become Saul?  What type of illness does his brother suffer from?  What the hell is Tuco going to do to him?  Episode 2 airs tonight on AMC.  Better Call Saul is already Better Watch TV!
