First, I had to say good-bye to Walter White. Last night I bid farewell to Raylan Givens. The TV show Justified aired it's series finale last night on FX, and it wrapped up 6 season of the hit show. It also ended another of my binge watching favorites.

I got on the Justified train late. People told me how good the show was, but I was already involved with another show. Breaking Bad consumed my life for quite some time. I got on that show late too, but binge watched my way to the finale. When it was over, I felt there was a hole in my life. I didn't think another TV show could ever match what I felt when watching Breaking Bad. I tried several other series before finally giving Justified a shot. I'm not sure why I waited so long. Timothy Olyphant was terrific as U.S. Marshall Raylan Givens. He was simply born to play that character. I binge watched 5 seasons of Justified on Amazon Prime and then got ready for the sixth and final season.

Last night's series finale was one of the best I've seen. It had the confrontations you'd expect, and then in the last 15 minutes it showed it's heart. It wrapped up story lines, and not always happily. But that's life. There are no storybook endings. Now I'm faced with a familiar feeling. A hole. Justified has gone the way of Breaking Bad. It was a great run. Now what do I watch?
