Brain Finds Out What Its Like to Wear a Bra

I never thought that I'd be doing a morning show while wearing a bra, but here I am doing just that. We did a story a week ago about a group of guys that wore a bra for a week to see what women go through. I decided that I would try it for at least the duration of our morning show. Today is the day, and yes, I'm wearing a very nice black bra underneath my shirt this morning. I can already tell you it's going to be an uncomfortable morning.

Why wear a bra? I've been married for nearly 16 years. My wife Holly has often described that moment of taking off your bra at the end of the day as one of the best feelings ever. Courtlin has echoed that sentiment. So what are they complaining about? I can already tell you. This thing around me in constricting, chaffing and uncomfortable. I've already pinched my chest hair multiple times, which granted, is a problem unique to me and not women. I can't imagine having to strap this thing on day after day. I suppose one would get used to it, but you get my point. Guys, you have no idea.

My initial point in doing this today was to provide perspective for guys. I'm wearing this today so the rest of you don't have to. But a caller yesterday had an even better idea. She liked the fact that I was willing to do this, and she is making a donation to The Especially For You Breast Cancer Fund. The annual race which is coming up on October 4th raises money for mammograms and and other treatments involving breast cancer. I can't think of a better thing to do than to make a donation today. We all know someone who has battled breast cancer. Early detection is key, and funding programs like this can help save lives. So laugh and giggle all you want at the 'guy wearing a bra' today. It will be worth it.
