Brain Breaks His No Christmas Tree Until AFTER Thanksgiving Rule!

Alright, I put up the tree. Yes, the Christmas tree I swore wouldn't be up until AFTER Thanksgiving is standing tall in our living room. Now, in my defense, the lights aren't strung yet, and the ornaments aren't hung.  We intend to do that as a family on Thanksgiving morning.

Why did the tree go up?  Timing.  My wife and I work opposite shifts, and we saw an opening Monday evening we she got home.  But rest assured, I'll abide by the rest of my "no lights on til after Thanksgiving" rules!  The lights on the house?  NOT on until after Thanksgiving.  The Christmas tree?  It won't be lit up until after the Thanksgiving meal.

So go ahead.  Yell at me for putting the tree up.  But I'm STILL standing up for Thanksgiving!
