Week four is in the books for our corporate weight loss challenge. I'm happy to report that I was down 3 lbs from the week prior and since the challenge began I'm down 13 lbs. Hot weather and working outside helped in losing the weight, but as we move closer to the end of summer and cooler temperatures, I'm going to need to amp up my workout! Also add in Iowa Hawkeye Football and tailgating...that will be a problem. I'm really going to need a good workout on Sundays to burn off all of that tailgating food and drinks.

If your like me, you see all of this delicious food on TV or popping up on facebook and how to make these tasty dishes at home. That is a challenge for me as I like to eat. I realize that I can't stay on my diet every moment and when I do try one of those delicious deep fat fried foods -- I need to work it off. The main thing is not to get down on yourself and that's not easy to do. So far so good.

Friday is another weigh-in day. I'm within 15 lbs of my goal!
