Last weekend was a hot & humid weekend and I loved it! For me, working on my racecar on a hot & humid day and then racing that night is a great workout. For me it's very similiar to marathon. I started off Sunday morning getting everything lined up for the racecar to race Sunday night at Dubuque. The night before, we attended the Back Porch Revival at Kinnick Stadium. I've been staying steady with my diet and have been staying right around 205 lbs. I knew Sunday I would work off what I ate & drank Saturday night at Kinnick.

Sunday I weighed myself right around 207 lbs. My workout was going to have to be a good one. Add in heat & humidity with working on the car and grinding the tires getting them ready for the races -- I was a sweating machine. Just in a four hour time period, I went through three t-shirts... TWICE!!! Now mind you... I do drink plenty of water while I'm working, I just don't always take time to eat lunch. By the time the car was all ready to go and loaded on the trailer, it was time for a quick shower and off to the track. As I jumped on the scales I was hoping to see a number under 200 lbs. My wish came true as I tipped the scales at 197.3. I had to take a picture to document it. 10 lbs in one afternoon. The most I've ever lost in one day of working on the racecar and racing is 11 lbs. I know a bunch of this is water weight but I usually only gain a few pounds back during the week. This is my own extreme workout and it seems to work for me with my weight loss.

The Townsquare Corporate Weigh In is this Friday and I hope to stay around 200 which would be a 5 lb. loss from last week. Please keep all chocolate and potato chips away from me!!!
