The new season of 'The Voice' debuts September 21st, but Blake Shelton just added his talents to a movie about country music that's 90 years in the making.

The Grand Ole Opry has been a radio show for 90 years and is coming to the big screen later this year. Last night, Blake along with Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker, Brett Eldredge, and The Band Perry were all on the heralded stage in Music City for taping of a concert movie.

This tweet caught my eye yesterday and left me wondering. The Grand Ole Opry typically hosts shows on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. I never gave it a second thought. Turns out, I should have.

A little later came the word on what was actually happening.

Looks like it's time to place a call to the Cedar Rapids Carmike Cinemas. Who would join us this December for "American Saturday Night: Live From the Grand Ole Opry?"
