While no one in Iowa hit the $1.6 billion jackpot with Mega Millions, there were still some big local winners! While we don't have names, we at least know where the winning tickets were sold.

Three Iowans won $10,000 with Mega Millions. The Iowa Lottery says two of those tickets were sold in Ames and the third was sold in Marion. The Kum and Go on 7th Avenue in Marion to be more specific. But the big Iowa winner of the night came from a ticket sold at a Hy-Vee in Clive. That ticket is worth $1 million. The winner of that prize has not yet stepped forward according to the Iowa Lottery. Hy-Vee will get a bonus of $1,000 for selling the winning ticket as well.

Iowans purchased over 106,000 winning tickets for the drawing on Tuesday night. Prizes ranged from $2 up to $1 million. Courtlin won $4! She is waiting for the media attention to die down before she claims her prize at lottery headquarters.
