Hello, K-Hawk Country. I've been calling KHAK listeners like you and the region that for longer than I sometimes like to admit. Cedar Rapids and 98.1 KHAK have been my home since 1990. I know, it doesn't look like I could possibly be old enough for that, does it? My explanation? I was still wearing diapers during my early days on the air at K-Hawk. Very few people are lucky enough to be able to call one place home for as long as I have and I'm extremely thankful you've put up with me for all these years. My wife, Julie, and I make Cedar Rapids home and we have a couple cats named Caylie and Charlie. We continue to search for our Sheltie, Cooper, who was lost in early July of 2016. I'm a Hawkeye fan (foremost), closely followed by the Cardinals (baseball). I also root for the Minnesota Vikings.
