One of the most successful authors of all-time is coming to Iowa City in June.

The co-owner of Prairie Lights Bookstore, Jan Weissmiller, says Stephen King will speak at the Englert Theatre in Iowa City on June 13 to promote the new book, "End of Watch." The book will actually be released six days earlier, on June 7. It's one of 12 stops he'll be making across the country, according to his website.

Weissmiller says it won't be a normal signing, but instead a conversation from the stage. She told the Iowa City Press-Citizen, "He's certainly the best-selling author we've ever had."

The time of the event and cost haven't been announced yet, but it clearly will be one HOT ticket. In the last 42 years, King has written 54 novels, many of which have been turned into movies. He's reportedly sold more than 350 million books during his illustrious career.

Watch the Prairie Lights website for details on King's appearance, when they are released.
